In recent years, SAXONIA Galvanik has invested considerably in the expansion of research and development and participated in national as well as European research projects: with the aim of developing new technologies, processes and product ideas – and finding solutions to meet the specific requirements of our customers.

A high level of innovative strength and great performance in functional surface technology make SAXONIA Galvanik a sought-after partner for customer-specific solutions. Our close networking and cooperation with university research at the Technical University Freiberg and the Technical University Ilmenau, as well as with institutes, authorities, chemical suppliers, tool manufacturers, process partners and inspection companies, ensure high added value along the entire process and production chain.

The highest quality standards are a central component of our corporate philosophy. Regular examinations and tests guarantee premium quality. With its internal and external testing facilities, SAXONIA Galvanik meets all standards or specifications of customers in all industrial sectors. Our dedicated team in the quality and process engineering department (including sample department) with numerous engineers and well-trained skilled workers contributes daily to meeting the high requirements of our clients. Innovation within the framework of association work
Associations form an important platform for the exchange of technical experience, for further training, research and development. As part of our association work, experts from SAXONIA Galvanik are involved in interlaboratory tests on chromium(VI)-free processes and their evaluation. We are also active in the working groups for occupational health and safety and fire protection, as well as in committees for evaluating or commenting on new standards or technical guidelines – in order to be a competent contact for our OEMs at the association level. Furthermore, we are involved in political work through the associations.
